Cocktail tasting dinner with Oro Gin in The Morgan Room

The Ivy Buchanan Street, Glasgow is delighted to host a special cocktail tasting dinner in partnership with Oro Gin. The Oro Distilling Company is located in Dalton in Dumfriesshire and launched in November 2017.

The evening will feature a three-course meal* paired with bespoke cocktails. Each cocktail has been specially chosen to match and complement each dish and will incorporate the award-winning Oro Gin. Oro is a classical style Scottish Dry Gin, starting with robust notes of juniper smoothly moving to a zingy citrus mid body, finishing nicely dry, with a note of spiced vanilla. 

A perfect mid-week event, there are a limited number of tickets available to purchase now. Priced at £68* each ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival, a three-course meal* paired with bespoke cocktails, and teas and coffees post dessert. On the night, guests will also be able to enjoy an exclusive talk from one of Oro Gin's representatives. 

Menu

Starter: Seared Atlantic scallops, cauliflower purée, caper butter, tamarind glaze, apple batons and a golden crumb

Main: Fillet of beef Wellington, Truffle beef Wellington with mushroom duxelles, creamed potatoes, honey-glazed baby carrots and red wine sauce

Dessert: Crème brûlée, classic set vanilla custard with a caramelised sugar crust
